Haiku from a long-forgotten Season

I’ll hand you a lens

and you will see what I see

infinite beauty

~~~
shattered glass ceiling
measured femininity
night gives way to day
~~~

unharness the horse

Winter gallops into Spring

a clean sweat breaking

~~~
Traveling the world
collecting spoons and dolls
what did your eyes see?
~~~

safe behind the door

hand acts as a conduit

wild stories unleashed

~~~
cozy cup of tea
the affair with words begins
now, let’s add whisky
~~~

soft and radiant

light refracted through gnarled trees

autumn dazzles me
